Warning: The World Could Blow Up

Have you ever thought about what you would do if the world suddenly ended? Now, we are all bombarded with "the end is here" stories, every few years or so. But nothing ever happens. I can personally remember the mass hysteria of Y2K quite well, and the latest doomsday prophesy has to do with 2012. Everyone has heard of THAT one. But really, the world could end tommorrow, and how many people would be prepared for it?

Ecclesiates 9:12 For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.



How have you prepared for disaster? Do you have food and water stored, enough for your whole family? You should. Most don't. Do you have enough cash (not bank money) so that if the banks were to fail, you would be able to pay for things? How about God? Are you certain of your place in heaven if your life were to end tommorrow? Tonight? Right now?

We should all think of these things as neccessary to our future survival. It is very important to make sure that in case of emergency we could provide for our babies. We all should have the confidence that we have educated ourselves in survival to the best of our circumstances. But what's more important is our long term home. We will all die. Some sooner than others. Our children will die, our spouses, our mothers and fathers and friends. What have we done today to ensure we and our families go to the right place?
